Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy to Inaugurate Ministry of Mines Pavilion at IITF 2025

Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, is set to inaugurate the Ministry of Mines Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The pavilion will showcase India’s advancements in mining technology, mineral exploration, sustainability initiatives, and opportunities for investors across the mineral sector.

This year’s IITF theme focuses on innovation, sustainability, and future-ready industries—aligning closely with the Ministry of Mines’ vision to modernize India’s mining ecosystem. The pavilion will feature exhibits from Geological Survey of India (GSI), Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM), and several state mineral development corporations, highlighting digital exploration tools, environmental conservation measures, and new-age mineral strategies.

Officials confirmed that the pavilion aims to educate visitors on India’s critical minerals roadmap, reforms introduced for transparent mining allocation, and the role of minerals in supporting electric mobility, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing.

The inauguration will be followed by interactive sessions, live demonstrations, and panel discussions on the future of mining in India. The Ministry expects strong participation from industry leaders, students, and global delegates attending IITF 2025.
