Yes, we want some good cleantech-focused messages on your shirt, your hoodie, your mug, or your cap — or even your baby’s clothes! Thanks to our wonderful readers, in recent months, we have actually raised much more than our $2,000 Kickstarter target from pure donations/subscriptions. We hugely appreciate those no-cost contributions, and they are critical to doing the work we do. Though, we’re now looking to get our first full book out to people and aiming to raise money for our first Electric Home Show, and future ones.

Also, honestly, I read Outta Gas to do one of the full edits, and I can’t recommend the book highly enough. It’s a superb “self-help” book for climate-concerned citizens of the world based on years of research and work. It is also extremely engagingly written and fun. I do think everyone should read it.

But this short article is focused on the schwag.

I gave a presentation at a Renewable Cities conference in Vancouver 11 years ago focused on the theme “The Future Is Now.” It was a fun exercise trying to condense several years of cleantech research and writing into a short presentation. I’ve given later versions of that presentation across the world — from India (an hour-long presentation sandwiched between speeches from the Minister of Energy & the Environment and the Minister of Transportation) to Germany to the UAE to Curaçao to Florida. After that first presentation, Scott suggested we use “The Future Is Now” as our tagline. It still feels like one of the most important messages to spread, so we have it on a variety of products you can buy from our store.

Smash the Oiligarchy” is a fun one Scott came up with. Perhaps it’s slightly more nerdy with the pun, but it’s especially relevant right now as the US oiligarchy is working so hard to stop progress inside our borders and internationally. It’s a brilliant line and is one we definitely need to use and promote more.

Perhaps it’s a bit out of date now (no longer trending), but we also still have the “Keep Calm and Charge On” apparel.

We’ve also got various “EVangelist” options with different EV models.

And we’ve got basic “CleanTechnica” options if you just want to rep our brand and see where you meet other readers. I’ve met at least three readers on our local tennis courts, one at a soccer field, some at charging stations, and probably some others elsewhere.

So, if you want some cleantech-pushing clothing, are ready to read our fun and inspiring new book, or even want to put on a cleantech event with our support (you can do it!), then pop onto our Kickstarter page and support our campaign!
