SANY highlights AI Service Assistant and remote control at CONEXPO 2026

Equipment is only part of the equation whether it is quarrying or mining. At CONEXPO 2026, SANY has showcased technology and support solutions, designed to help operators work more efficiently, improve accuracy and keep machines running at their best. These tools it says are focused on real jobsite performance and long term ownership, not unnecessary complexity.

They include telematics systems that help monitor machine location, operating hours and maintenance needs – having compatibility with leading grade control solutions to improve accuracy and reduce rework. It also covers connected diagnostics and support tools designed to improve uptime and simplify service; plus technology focused on helping contractors, quarry and mine operators and construction firms manage equipment, operators and productivity more effectively.

Three main technologies were highlighted. SANY AI Service Assistant (SASA) offers intelligent diagnostics, interactive fault identification, and quick parts identification for efficient maintenance. SANY RootPilot brings high-precision 3D guidance for smarter, faster, and more efficient operations.

Finally SANY Remote Control – SANY also showcased this system at its booth area, allowing CONEXPO visitors to operate an excavator located in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, over 6,500 miles away. This offers AI-assisted operation, with one-click digging and loading. This system, also demonstrated at Bauma 2025 in Munich, Developed by Yaowu Technology and SANY Heavy Machinery’s Large Excavator R&D Institute, uses the Mechlink Intelligent Excavation System and is designed for large excavators in harsh and hazardous scenarios. Utilising ultra-low latency 5G, it enables L2-level one-click intelligent excavation, ensuring safety, efficiency, and advanced intelligence.

SANY has on display at CONEXPO 32 machines and 17 attachments, including 10 new models designed for the North American market. Among these a new-gen SW940L wheel loader, integrating a Cummins B6.7 engine and ZF transmission/drive axle. It also has an advanced full electronic control system, compatible with mainstream attachments. Intelligent features include automatic limit control, one-touch bucket shake, parallel lift, tyre pressure monitoring, smart attachment selection and positioning. The SY335LC Medium Excavator is powered by a 9L, 209 kW Cummins engine, delivering stronger torque and higher displacement in its class. With 204 kN of bucket force and 153 kN of arm force, it delivers powerful, precise, and efficient digging performance.
