RCT – Powered by Epiroc strengthens New South Wales support with Orange office

RCT – Powered by Epiroc has announced the opening of its new Orange branch, in New South Wales, Australia, marking the latest milestone in its continued growth across the state.

Located alongside fellow Epiroc-acquired company JTMEC at its Leewood Drive premises, the new branch represents a significant step in strengthening the company’s regional footprint and enhancing support for clients across the area.

The decision to establish a dedicated branch in Orange was driven by increasing demand and a growing volume of work within the region, RCT – Powered by Epiroc explained. The move positions it to respond more proactively to the area’s evolving needs, particularly as mining activity continues to expand and modernise.

Previously supported remotely by the Brisbane branch, the new location enables the company to work more closely with clients through faster response times, stronger relationships and improved service delivery.

“We’ve had a presence in the region for some time, with our Field Service Technician, Tim Halstead, based locally and supporting our clients,” RCT’s East Coast Branch Manager, Owen Perrott, said. “As demand continued to grow, it became clear that a more permanent and scalable solution was needed. Establishing a branch in Orange allows us to better support our existing clients while creating opportunities to expand our reach.”

The Orange branch will initially operate with a team of three, providing a strong foundation for future growth.

“The establishment of a base in the region is a key point of difference between us and other automation technology providers operating in the area,” RCT’s Global Operations Manager, Rick Radcliffe, said.

The new facility will support a range of services, with a focus on field service, parts supply and customer support.

“Its local presence is expected to open doors to additional mine sites and operations throughout the region, creating greater opportunities for collaboration with both existing and new customers,” he added.

A key element of the expansion strategy is collaboration with industry partners, including JTMEC, to strengthen service capability across the region.

“While operating in complementary areas, the partnership is expected to create new efficiencies and opportunities for both businesses and their customers,” Perrott said.

Additionally, the Orange location provides access to broader support networks and resources when required, ensuring flexibility and capability across a wide range of projects.

The expansion forms part of a broader strategy to strengthen RCT’s presence across key mining regions, ensuring customers benefit from localised support backed by the global strength of Epiroc.
