Acquire connects Blackfox and GIM Suite to bring geology and drilling data together

Acquire Technology Solutions has launched a new integration between Blackfox and GIM Suite, connecting drillhole data between the two solutions. The integration streamlines how drillhole data moves between the two systems, helping mining companies reduce manual data transfers, improve data integrity, and initialise drill programs faster.

With the new integration, hole collar details captured in GIM Suite can be transferred directly into the drillhole planning interface within Blackfox. It reduces the risk of incorrect hole information being used when initialising a drill program in Blackfox and means geologists and drilling teams can share data faster from the same source of truth.

Together, GIM Suite and Blackfox close the gap between geological data and downstream drilling processes, giving teams a clearer, more consistent view of their drilling plans and operations. For geology teams, this means reduced manual data transfers between systems; improved data consistency and traceability; better alignment between geology and drilling operations; faster turnaround when initiating a drill program; and greater confidence in reporting and decision making. Teams across a mining operation can collaborate more easily and respond faster to what’s happening on site.

Interoperability is key across mining technology. As operations become more data-driven, the ability to connect systems and share information seamlessly matters more than ever. Connecting Blackfox and GIM Suite helps miners build a more cohesive software ecosystem using Acquire’s solutions, reducing silos and keeping everyone, from field teams to corporate stakeholders, working from accurate, up-to-date information.

“Integrating Blackfox with GIM Suite creates a more connected experience for our customers,” said Elliot Flaig, Blackfox Operations Manager. “It reduces friction from the way data moves between the two systems and helps teams rely on consistent, accurate information. The result is stronger data, better reconciliation, and more efficient day-to-day operations.”

The integration Acquire says reflects its ongoing commitment to helping mining organisations get more from their data. “By connecting critical systems and streamlining workflows, Acquire continues to support customers as they build more efficient, informed and resilient operations.”
