Clinch announces acquisition of second equipment spread for Lanes Branch Surface Mine

Clinch Resources Ltd., a metallurgical coal producer with mining assets in West Virginia, has acquired a second equipment spread for the Lanes Branch surface mining operation.
According to the company’s recent announcement, the equipment will be fully deployed and in production in early September 2026.
Jon Nix, Clinch CEO, comments:
“Following our first production sold from our high-quality Lanes Branch surface mine in Wyoming County, West Virginia, we continue to validate our operational strategy with a second equipment spread to support our year-end production targets. This follows the recently purchased Cat HW 300 Highwall Miner mobilised to Lanes Branch, which starts production this month.”
