CII to host India’s largest Conference on Mining & Construction Equipment: “Redefining Boundaries, Innovating a Sustainable Future”

  • The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is all set to organize India’s largest and most comprehensive conference on Miming & Construction Equipment under the theme “Redefining Boundaries, Innovating a Sustainable Future” at the prestigious Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi on 19th May 2025.

India’s mining and construction equipment sector is on the cusp of transformative growth, fueled by rising demand for advanced machinery and a conducive policy environment. As India seeks to strengthen its position in the global mining arena, strategic policy interventions are crucial to drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure long-term sustainability.

This upcoming conference will bring together key stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, innovators, and infrastructure experts, to deliberate on the future of the mining and construction equipment industry.  Vivek Bhatia , Chairman CII Mining and Construction Equipment will host the event around 10Am today .The Keynote speakers of the event include who’s who of the mining and mining machinery manufacturing giants of Indian republic from KM Prasad (CMD, Coal India Limited) to Shantanu Roy(CMD, Beml Limited) The event also sees active participations from India government and other foreign governments. Dinesh Mathur; Joint Secretary Ministry of Mines shall be representing the Indian government followed by H.E. Ms. Stella Nkomo ,Ambassador; Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe ; H.E. Mr Kenneth Félix Haczynski da Nóbrega,Ambassador of Brazil to India & Bhutan and many other government dignitaries from India and abroad .

The Mining & Construction Equipment division of CII that host this prestigious event includes some of most youngest dynamic mining and construction equipment magnates of India from likes of Vivek Bhatia who is the Managing Director & CEO of TKIL Industries Ltd ( Formerly Thyssen Krupp) currently Chairman of MCED division of CII alongside Ravi Todi , Managing Director, BTL EPC Ltd who also chairs MCED eastern chapter of CII from Kolkata, Manav Kohli who is the Chair of Northern chapter of CII from New Delhi currently serving as Executive Director and CEO, Gainwell Commonsales Private Limited, the western region by Manojit Haldar who also is the Managing Director and President of Swedish Multinational ,Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology India Pvt Ltd alongside the South India CII Regional council Chairman , the legendary businessman and philanthropist Sajja Kishore Babu who is also founder chairman of Powermech Projects Ltd,Hyderabad .
