Datamine brings fatigue monitoring and CAS into a combined suite with its FMS through partnership with Correct-AI
Datamine, a global leader in mining technology, has announced the launch of its most comprehensive fleet management and operational safety solution to date, designed to transform productivity and safety across mining operations worldwide. The global rollout of this initiative will be led by Niel Prinsloo, a recognised industry expert with more than 20 years of experience delivering large-scale mining technology solutions.
The new offering brings together Datamine’s proven Minetrack fleet management system – currently deployed at more than 40 mine sites across Latin America – with an expanded suite of capabilities that now includes production fleet tracking, management of ancillary and light vehicles, advanced dispatching, and route
optimisation. In a major enhancement to its safety portfolio, Datamine has entered into a strategic partnership with Correct-Ai, integrating its cutting-edge operational safety technologies into the Minetrack platform.
The combined solution delivers a powerful, AI-driven approach to collision avoidance, assisted braking, driver fatigue monitoring, and real-time behaviour analysis. Correct-Ai’s advanced machine learning models Datamine says offer a step-change improvement over legacy proximity detection systems. “By dramatically reducing false positives, their technology ensures that operators receive accurate, reliable alerts without unnecessary production interruptions – delivering safety performance that does not compromise efficiency.”
“Mining companies need technology that enhances safety while supporting continuous, optimised production,” said Prinsloo, Global Business Development Manager – Fleet at Datamine. “Our collaboration with Correct-Ai allows us to deliver exactly that: world-class fleet management with a modern, intelligent safety layer that miners can trust in the most demanding environments.”
The new Datamine fleet management and operational safety platform provides mining operations with: integrated tracking for production, ancillary and light vehicle fleets; centralised dispatch and route management; AI-powered collision avoidance and assisted braking; driver fatigue detection and behaviour monitoring; and a unified data environment for real-time operational insights.
John Bailey, CEO of Datamine, said: “We’re proud to offer a solution that combines our deep operational expertise with next-generation AI safety technology. This initiative reinforces Datamine’s commitment to supporting safer, smarter, more productive mining operations globally.” The enhanced Minetrack and Correct-Ai integrated offering is available immediately to existing and new Datamine customers worldwide.
