DELKOR India has signed what it says is a major EPC contract with Arab Potash Company for the supply of a 50 m diameter DELKOR Thickener for the Hot Leach Potash (HLP) application as part of the capacity expansion project.
This contract reinforces DELKOR India’s proven expertise in delivering robust, high-performance liquid/solid separation solutions tailored to the demanding environments of potash processing applications worldwide, it says.
Project highlights include:
- Plant designed for challenging high-temperature conditions typical of HLP circuits;
- Thickener parts constructed from superalloy steel, chosen for its superior high-temperature strength, corrosion resistance and long service life in potash applications;
- Sealed tank cover and complete tank insulation to maintain process temperature and optimise energy efficiency; and
- On-site erection and commissioning of all thickener components;
