The international mining industry will gather at Skellefteå Kraft Arena for Euro Mine Expo 2026 next week, with delegates from over 40 countries expected to fill a fully booked exhibitor floor.
“The exhibition area at Euro Mine Expo is more than just an exhibition space – it is a leading arena for the green transition in mining,” Jonas Dahlberg, CEO of Nolia AB, which organizes the fair, said.
In the two large exhibition halls and in the outdoor area, the trend is clear: digitalisation, automation and sustainability are at the centre.
Dahlberg added: “The enormous interest from exhibitors underlines Euro Mine Expo‘s position as a central meeting place for the European mining sector. Euro Mine Expo is a cornerstone in our work to create meeting places that promote positive growth for both business and society. By bringing together the global mining industry here in Skellefteå, we are not just arranging a trade show – we are enabling the crucial connections and innovations required to secure a sustainable future for the industry. The fact that we are once again fully booked is an acknowledgement of the important role this event plays in the global mining ecosystem,” he says.
Euro Mine Expo‘s Project Manager, Sinnika Sjunnesson, highlights the breadth as one of the main strengths: “What makes Euro Mine Expo unique is our breadth. We have a fantastic mix where global giants such as Boliden, LKAB, Metso, Sandvik, RPMGlobal, David Brown Santasalo, ABB and Epiroc stand side-by-side with highly specialised niche companies. Significant progress is made when these different actors come together. Having the entire value chain represented in one place creates incredible synergy.
“It feels extremely inspiring to see that Euro Mine Expo once again attracts participants from over 40 different countries. This diversity of expertise and perspectives is exactly what makes the event a unique platform for knowledge exchange and long-term partnerships within the global mining community.”
As a complement to the intensive trade fair, an extensive conference program is offered with in-depth panel discussions and expert speakers. The conference program rests on three critical pillars: Innovation & Technology, Social Responsibility and Work Environment. The sessions reflect the rapid transformation of the mining industry, where digitalisation and sustainability are no longer visions of the future but part of daily operations.
While the days focus on business and knowledge exchange, the evening program – including Get Together & Mingle and the big gala dinner Mining & Dining – is designed to facilitate the high-level networking that Euro Mine Expo is known for.
