GRX Industry Awards to celebrate mining and METS excellence, innovation, leadership
The GRX Industry Awards return in 2026 to recognise outstanding people, companies and innovations that are accelerating the future of the mining and METS sector.
Presented at the Global Resources Innovation Expo 2026 (GRX26) Awards Dinner on May 6 in Perth, Western Australia, the awards will showcase bold leadership, highlight groundbreaking technologies and celebrate outstanding individual contributions, organisers say.
This year’s awards will build on the success of the inaugural 2025 awards, which attracted 800-plus industry leaders, and will feature an expanded program including a new Women in STEM Award.
The gala dinner will bring together senior executives, METS innovators, professionals and emerging leaders for a memorable night of celebration, entertainment and networking alongside the GRX26 conference.
Industry-wide nominations are now open for the following award categories:
- Craig Senger Excellence in Export Award – Recognising outstanding performance, innovation, and impact in developing and sustaining international markets by established or emerging exporters;
- Outstanding Innovative METS Company Award – Recognising an organisation that has delivered exceptional innovation with measurable impact across the mining industry;
- Excellence in Resources by a New Professional Award – Recognising professionals in the first five years of their career who have delivered an initiative, project or innovation that is making a meaningful and positive impact;
- Women in STEM and Resources Impact Award (new) – The 2026 program introduces this brand new award, recognising a woman who has demonstrated outstanding leadership or advocacy that is inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals;
- Exceptional Innovation in Mining Award – Recognising outstanding organisational innovation that has delivered measurable industry impact in operational performance, sustainability, productivity or safety; and
- Champion of Innovation Award – Recognising an individual who has made a transformative and sustained contribution to innovation in mining and METS who has demonstrated original thinking, measurable impact and influence.
