Hyundai and Kia had one heck of a party this week in Europe. They launched the compact but practical Kia EV2 as well as the Hyundai STARIA electric van. But that’s not all! While launching the EV2, Kia also launched the EV3 GT, EV4 Hatchback GT, and EV5 GT. And these vehicles were made for a party.

Naturally, GT implies that these are very sporty vehicles. Kia basically sportified its core, mass-market electric cars. They all have dual motors and all-wheel drive.

Here’s more from Kia on the new models:

“Each model combines dual-motor all-wheel drive, GT-specific chassis tuning and electronically controlled suspension, enhanced by immersive digital features such as virtual gear shift, active sound design and dedicated GT driving modes that coordinate power delivery, steering, displays and lighting.

  • EV3 GT delivers compact, confident performance with a 215-kW dual-motor AWD system and electronically controlled suspension, complemented by GT-specific design highlights, semi-bucket seats and ambient lighting.
  • EV4 Hatchback GT offers expressive driving dynamics, combining a 215-kW dual-motor AWD setup with performance-oriented tires and 20-inch wheels, while a dedicated GT driving mode, active sound design and Virtual Gear Shift heighten driving engagement.
  • EV5 GT brings versatile performance to the C-SUV segment with AWD, enhanced output and GT-specific chassis tuning — including electronically controlled suspension with road-preview function — complimented by GT-exclusive design and interior elements.”

These follow the already available Kia EV6 GT and EV9 GT, sporty versions of its larger electric vehicle models.

Unfortunately, we don’t have more specs and details on them for now, but production is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026. More details will surely roll out in phases between now and then.
