LGMG Peru says it has started 2026 strongly, consolidating its position as one of the main suppliers of heavy mining machinery in the country. It says it has closed orders for 226 units of mining trucks and excavators which are in the process of delivery in Peru, reflecting it says the market’s confidence in its technology, technical support and sustainability proposal.
Of this total, 120 units are already operating it adds in “one of the most prestigious mines in the country. This development not only strengthens the productivity of operations, but also reaffirms LGMG Peru’s commitment to more efficient and sustainable mining.” LGMG Peru is part of Lingong Machinery Group (LGMG), one of China’s leading mining equipment suppliers, with its factory and HQ in Jinan Innovation Zone, Shandong Province.
Since its arrival in the Peruvian market, LGMG adds it has understood that the success of a mining operation does not depend only on the quality of the equipment, “but on a comprehensive approach that combines technological innovation, sustainability and specialised human capital. For this reason, the brand not only provides heavy mining machinery, such as excavators, hauling and loading equipment, but also develops technical and operational training programs aimed at its customers’ operators.”
It continued: “This support ensures optimal management of the units, reducing downtime and ensuring efficient performance even in the most demanding conditions of our Peruvian geography.”
One of the pillars that supports LGMG Peru’s growth it says is its solid after-sales system, focused on providing fast and effective solutions in mining. The company points out that it has a wide availability of spare parts, a highly trained technical team and permanent 24-hour operational support, guaranteeing efficient mining production. “This after-sales approach is reinforced by constant investment in infrastructure, logistics and technical support, allowing LGMG to respond efficiently to the high demands of the mining sector and consolidate itself as a strategic ally for contractor companies in the sector.”
Carlos Berrospi, Account Manager of LGMG Peru, highlights “the great reception that the brand has had since its introduction in the country.” As he also points out, LGMG has only been in the Peruvian market for three years, yet has managed to reach commercial agreements with customers of great relevance within the mining sector. This sustained growth LGMG argues responds to a clear proposition: “robust equipment, cutting-edge technology and comprehensive support that accompanies the customer throughout the lifecycle of the machinery.”
Within LGMG Peru’s portfolio of mining equipment, it says the RTH100 hybrid mining truck stands out as one of the most advanced solutions on the market. This model allows savings of more than 40% in fuel consumption compared to traditional trucks, thanks to its intelligent automatic start and stop systems, energy regeneration and real-time monitoring. “These features make the RTH100 a highly competitive alternative for operations looking to reduce operating costs, minimise their environmental impact, and improve energy efficiency without sacrificing power or performance.”
The advances achieved by LGMG Peru are part of an international expansion strategy, consolidating its presence in the Peruvian market with the further aim to project its technology as a benchmark in mining sustainability in Latin America.
LGMG Peru also refers to its performance in mining safety since entering the Peruvian market, stating that its CMT and RTH100 mining trucks have maintained a record of zero accidents. “Safety is a fundamental pillar in all LGMG Peru operations. The company applies rigorous protocols at every stage of the operation, from initial testing to continuous production operations. Among the main actions are the implementation of a permanent monitoring system and specialised technical support available 24/7, which allows risks to be anticipated, equipment performance optimised and safe work environments guaranteed at all times.”
This preventive and systematic approach has allowed LGMG Peru to comply with the highest mining safety standards, “aligning with international best practices and the demands of the extractive sector in the country.”
The RTH100 hybrid truck is designed to maximise operational performance under LGMG’s 3E concept: efficiency, economy and ecology, as pillars of LGMG’s sustainability strategy. This equipment not only reduces energy consumption and emissions, but also improves operating conditions and safety in the mine.
Another cited factor in LGMG Peru’s operational success is its technical support and maintenance model. The company has a team of highly specialised mechanics who ensure timely and efficient interventions, contributing to a high fleet availability. In addition, there is an investment of more than US$3 million in spare parts. This infrastructure is complemented by its own warehouses, technical training offices for engineers and support centres, which significantly reduces response times in the field and raises the reliability levels of the equipment.
Thanks to this operating model, LGMG has managed to position itself quickly in the sector, with indicators that reflect efficiency, reliability and a strong commitment to all actors in the production chain.
