Lectric eBikes just unveiled its latest model, the XP4, and it’s a serious step forward for the brand’s popular folding e-bike lineup. Building on the huge success of the XP 3.0, this new version adds more power, more comfort, and smarter features, all while keeping that wallet-friendly price tag Lectric is known for.
Power & Performance: Two Options, Both Strong
The XP4 comes in two versions: the standard model with a 500W motor, and a premium version with a 750W motor and an upgraded 840Wh battery. That means you can now get up to 85 miles of range, which is a big jump for anyone who loves longer rides or hates charging often. Both models also feature a torque sensor, which is a big deal at this price point. That means your pedaling gets a much more natural and responsive boost, especially when climbing hills or riding through city streets.

Built Better Than Ever
The frame has been completely redesigned, and it looks sleeker, and more importantly, is intended to feel more stable. It still folds for easy transport and storage, but now accommodates a wider range of rider heights (from 4’10” to 6’3”), thanks to adjustable handlebars and seatpost. The XP4 is a bit heavier than previous models at 72 pounds, but that added weight contributes to its solid ride quality and durability.

Smarter Features, Safer Ride
Lectric really packed the XP4 with upgrades that make everyday riding more enjoyable:
- A color TFT display with easy-to-use controls
- Integrated turn signals and brake lights for better visibility and safety
- Custom 20×3” hybrid tires that handle pavement and light trails
- A smooth-shifting 8-speed drivetrain
- Quick-release aluminum pedals for added convenience
But the real showstopper? The new 602 hydraulic brake system, custom-designed by Lectric. In tests, it delivered an incredibly short average braking distance of just over 15 feet — one of the best performances in its class.
A Price That’s Hard To Beat
The XP4 starts at $999, and even the 750W version is only $1,299. For that price, you’re getting features typically found on bikes that cost a lot more. And during the launch, Lectric is throwing in five free accessories, including a suspension seatpost and upgraded saddle, to sweeten the deal even more.
Conclusion
The Lectric XP4 stands out as a compelling choice for e-bike enthusiasts seeking a blend of performance, comfort, and affordability. Its array of features, coupled with a competitive price, positions it as a leader in the folding e-bike segment. Whether for daily commuting or weekend excursions, the XP4 is equipped to meet diverse riding needs.
