Mineral Mining Services (MMS) has been awarded what it says is a comprehensive mining services contract by Ora Banda Mining at the Davyhurst Gold Project in the Western Australian Goldfields.
The contract marks a significant milestone in the expansion of MMS’s service portfolio, with the company appointed to deliver full load and haul, drill and blast, and extensive civil works. Operations will focus on the Waihi pit and associated run of mine realignment works.
This award highlights MMS’s reputation for operational agility and its proven ability to deploy large-scale resources at short notice. The MMS team has already completed a successful mobilisation to the site, delivering a high-performance fleet including 120-t excavators and a full contingency of support equipment. This rapid deployment was supported by an intensive recruitment effort to ensure all specialist personnel were on the ground and ready for the project commencement, the company says.
MMS CEO, Steven Hulme, said: “The award of this contract reinforces MMS’s strong presence in the Western Australian Goldfields and demonstrates the company’s technical and operational capability, including the ability to rapidly mobilise across a range of mining and civil projects.
“We look forward to working with Ora Banda Mining Ltd to support their next stage of growth.”
