NIO didn’t have the strongest start to the year in 2025. But it finished with a bang. The last four or five months of the year were huge for NIO.

In December, NIO scored 48,135 vehicle deliveries, a 54.6% increase over December 2024. That was also a 32.7% increase month over month, and its 5th month in a row of growth.

Of those 48,135 deliveries, 9,154 were from the ONVO brand, 7,084 were from the firefly brand, and 31,897 were from the NIO brand.

In addition to the new monthly record, NIO set a new quarterly record in the 4th quarter. In total, 124,807 vehicles were delivered by the company — 67,433 NIO brand vehicles (27.8% YoY growth), 38,290 ONVO brand vehicles (92.1% YoY growth), and 19,084 firefly brand vehicles (52.8% YoY growth).

Those big 4th quarter results helped NIO achieve a huge 2025 overall. The company sold 326,028 vehicles in 2025, a 46.9% increase over the 221,970 deliveries of 2024. The brand split across the year was as follows:

  • NIO — 178,806 deliveries
  • ONVO — 107,808 deliveries
  • firefly — 39,414 deliveries

The company just barely missed one big milestone in 2025. It rose to 997,592 cumulative deliveries, just shy of a landmark 1 million, but an announcement about that must be coming any day now. The brand split is as follows:

  • NIO — 829,609
  • ONVO — 128,569
  • firefly — 39,414

That looks like nice, solid growth.

Perhaps the beginning of 2025 was a slow start for NIO, but the trend overall looks very strong, promising, and consistent.

Kudos to NIO.
