Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi Inaugurates MCL Exhibit at Samruddha Odisha Conclave in Bhubaneswar

Odisha Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) Exhibit at the Samruddha Odisha Conclave held at Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar. The event highlighted the state’s developmental roadmap and the crucial role played by key industries in driving economic progress.

The Hon’ble Chief Minister was accompanied by Shri Sampad Chandra Swain, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Industries, Skill Development & Technical Education. During his visit, the CM lauded MCL’s significant contribution to nation building, particularly its efforts in ensuring energy security, promoting sustainable development, and supporting Odisha’s growth trajectory.

The dignitaries were received by Shri A.K. Behura, Director (Finance), MCL, who briefed them about the organisation’s initiatives in innovation, environmental protection, and community development. The CM expressed appreciation for MCL’s commitment to responsible mining practices and its expanding role in powering India’s energy sector.
