Sandvik mining equipment heading to Aris Mining’s Segovia Operations

Sandvik says it has won a further order of mining equipment from Canada-based gold miner, Aris Mining, to support its Segovia Operations in Antioquia, Colombia.

Segovia is a 100%-owned underground gold operation and one of the highest-grade gold mines globally, with a reserve grade of approximately 10.7 g/t Au. Situated in a historic mining district with more than 150 years of continuous production, Segovia is a cornerstone asset in Aris Mining’s portfolio. The operation produced 227,762 oz of gold in 2025, with production expected to increase to between 265,000 and 300,000 oz annually.

The order was booked in the June quarter of 2026, with deliveries beginning in July 2026. It follows the April 2026 announcement that Sandvik will supply a large fleet of underground mining equipment for Aris Mining’s Marmato Complex, also in Colombia.

Ricardo Pachón Mantilla, Vice President Andean & South Cone sales area at Sandvik Mining, said: “Our priority is to continue supporting Aris Mining throughout its growth and expansion, demonstrating the strength of our partnership through quality, commitment and reliability, while further strengthening our long-term business relationship.”
