On May 18, the SANY Group Global Mining Key Customer Summit kicked off in Xi’an, China. More than 700 mining delegates from around the world gathered for the event, with the amount of signed orders exceeding 5 billion yuan.
Peng Song, Director of SANY Group, announced the opening. SANY had a full range of large mining vehicles on show with notable example being the SKT145Ei battery electric, cabless unmanned wide-body mining truck and SRT100S hybrid rigid dump truck.
The company stated: “Innovation-driven, intelligent empowerment, low carbon leadership – SANY high-end mining equipment demonstrates the hard core strength of deep cultivation in the mining field.” At the summit site, it added that six static exhibition areas comprehensively displayed the strength of the whole industry chain of SANY Mining.
SANY highlighted capabilities including energy ecology with source-grid-load-storage, computing-power collaboration and intelligent scheduling to build a closed loop of green energy; plus unmanned intelligence with integrated perception, device-cloud collaboration, and intelligent scheduling to empower unmanned mine upgrades.
It also showcased green and low-carbon solutions for intelligent and efficient, ultra-long battery life, zero-carbon mines, leading the low-carbon transformation of the industry. SANY offers a complete set of open-pit mining equipment to ensure efficient operations from large excavators to battery, hybrid and conventional diesel mining trucks, including rigid and wide body trucks and ADTs; as well as a comprehensive range of intelligent underground machinery including roadheaders. At the event, SANY also highlighted quality assurance for customers with full life cycle services.
Eight domestic and 18 overseas mining companies completed the signing of contracts, which included a fleet order for the 220 t class SET240S diesel electric mining truck.
Many senior SANY executives attended, including in addition to Peng Song included Dai Qinghua, Director and Chief Engineer; Qi Jian, Director; Jiang Qingbin, Chairman of the Heavy Equipment Division; Li Qin, Chairman of the Overseas Direct Sales Division; Ding Yaojun, Director of the Global Key Account Headquarters; Huang Jianfeng, General Manager of the Heavy Machinery Division; Xu Qingwei, Deputy Director of the Global Key Customer Headquarters; Guo Ruiguang, Chairman of the Microgrid Division; Li Hongwei, Director of R&D Management Headquarters; and Xu Pengfei, Chairman of the African Regional Business Department.
Facing the future, SANY says it will continue to consolidate technological innovation, strengthen its global collaborative layout, and empower “the transformation and upgrading of the global mining industry with the ultimate product quality and the ultimate service system.”
