SpectraFlow Analytics has received an order for one SpectraFlow Crossbelt Analyser from Conglin Group’s iron ore mine in Xinjiang, Western China. With this order SpectraFlow says it is further increasing its presence in the iron ore industry after installations with other leading iron ore producers in Brazil and the rest of the world.
The SpectraFlow Online Analyser is installed in its Ziluyi North Iron Mine in the very remote Aketuo County, Xinjiang. The analyser will measure the ore after crushing to optimise the blending and to deliver a constant quality before the transport loading.
SpectraFlow is a leading supplier of NIR-based online analysers for the mining industry, with over 100 installations across the globe. In addition to iron ore, SpectraFlow provides online analysis solutions to the cement, copper, gold, platinum, potash, bauxite, phosphate and recycling industries, and it says it is continuously broadening application fields within these sectors. SpectraFlow‘s global installed base is over 110 analysers (60% Crossbelt & 40% Airslide) across more than 30 countries on all continents.
The Conglin Group is based in Shandong province and is active in different mineral processing sectors, including alumina, iron ore and cement.
The SpectraFlow Crossbelt Analyser is able to measure raw materials on belt conveyors in a very high frequency – every 420 ms (150 measurements per minute). Measurement output frequency can be even increased (eg for sorting purposes). The analyser is free of any radioactive sources, neutron generators or any hazardous components. This means the SpectraFlow Analyser does not require any permits or licenses regarding importation, operation or maintenance.
