Driven by the two goals of “dual carbon” and the restructuring of the global mining industry, Chinese mining equipment major Tonly Heavy Industries says greening, intelligence, low-carbon and unmanned operations have become the core directions and inevitable paths for industry transformation and uplifting.
During its recent 2026 Overseas Customer Festival, which included an equipment showcase in Hulunbuir, Tonly systematically presented a green intelligent mine ecosystem solution aimed at upgrading the global mining industry, and “providing the industry with a verifiable, replicable, and practical transformation path.”
Having been deeply involved in the mining equipment industry for over twenty years, Tonly says its strategy and approach has always come from its cooperation with the mining operators and contractors. Its slogan “five generations of products, inheritance and innovation” not only records the continuous evolution of the product system but also reflects the company’s professional spirit of constantly pushing boundaries and iterating and upgrading.
It says behind every technological innovation and product iteration lies a genuine practice of growing together with customers, as well as a process of ongoing collaboration and deepening cooperation with global mining partners. Through this long-term accumulation, Tonly says it has gradually developed technical and systematic solutions for the global market, continuously serving the diversified needs of international mining clients.
Tonly’s green intelligent mine ecosystem solution is built around four major systems: vehicles, energy, intelligence, and services; based on Tonly’s mine transportation equipment, coordinated with industry partners such as CATL, Weichai Power, Qiyuan Green Power, and Robo Network, and in partnership with other strategic partners such as Hande Axle, Haiwo, Guizhou Tire, and Taikaiying, forming a complete closed loop for mine operation support.
The foundation of the solution is Tonly’s all-scenario mining equipment matrix. The three new energy mining trucks released at the event form a robust product line covering all green intelligent transportation scenarios in mines.
First, the 91 t class all electric DTE145. Equipped with a 1,200 kWh dual-system battery architecture, faster charging and higher operational efficiency; it is also compatible with autonomous driving, with optional in-line control systems; while four-layer braking protection builds comprehensive safety protection.
Second, the 70 t class DTE95 Tonly says is the industry’s first pure electric wide-body dump truck with wide-base tyres. Wide-base tyres it says significantly reduce ground pressure, increasing ground clearance and making it easy to traverse soft roads. The chassis is compatible with various autonomous driving solutions and supports precise formation dispatch.
Finally, the hybrid RD136 is Tonly’s first independently developed 136 t class rigid mining truck; with wheel-end drive electric wheel technology, and battery assistance for climbing and descending energy recovery. Its single engine architecture it says make it more reliable, simpler, and easier to maintain than traditional dual-engine solutions. It combines 21 years of mining operating data to build a hardcore chassis, plus offers dual protection of electric feedback braking and mechanical braking.
Tonly’s TE series mining excavators were also officially launched, with the TE950 mining excavator making its debut on site. “Powerful performance and reliable performance intuitively present mining capabilities. At the same time, TE1050 and TE1350 have also entered the product lineup, continuously expanding the matrix of higher-tonnage mining equipment.”
Tonly says the prerequisite for equipment electrification is the integration of the energy system. In this solution, Tonly collaborated with Weichai Power, CATL, and Qiyuan Green Power to build an energy and power solution covering green intelligent ecological mines from energy storage, power, source-grid-load-storage, and utilisation.
From energy storage batteries to power systems, then to charging and swapping facilities, from single replenishment to green power microgrids, this energy system it says has made the “near-zero emissions” in mining area transportation truly feasible and economically viable – not because “green” means expensive, but because green and cost reduction happen simultaneously.
