Veracio, Bureau Veritas partner to advance geological scanning tech uptake in Latin America
VERACIO and Bureau Veritas have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a strategic commercial collaboration focused on expanding access to advanced geological scanning technologies across Latin America.
The agreement covers Chile, Peru, Argentina and Brazil, with the potential to expand into additional Latin American markets in the future, the companies say. Through the agreement, the organisations will work together to promote and deliver VERACIO’s geological scanning technologies to mining and exploration customers throughout the region.
Bureau Veritas maintains an extensive operational presence throughout Latin America, providing geological, laboratory and technical services that support exploration, resource evaluation and mining operations across the region.
The agreement builds on several years of successful collaboration, during which Bureau Veritas has gained firsthand experience working with VERACIO’s scanning technologies across customer projects in the region.
It combines VERACIO’s geological scanning technologies and technical expertise with Bureau Veritas’ operational capabilities, regional presence and customer relationships. The organisations will also explore opportunities to support broader mining industry initiatives focused on automation, digitalisation and the application of artificial intelligence to geological data and mining processes.
