Las Vegas is a city built on unforgettable experiences, and starting this season, getting to and from the stadium will be one of them. Today, we’re thrilled to announce that Waymo is the Official Autonomous Ride-Hailing Partner of the Las Vegas Raiders and Allegiant Stadium, marking the first-ever partnership between a professional football team and an autonomous vehicle company.
This partnership is all about elevating the fan experience. Riders traveling to Allegiant Stadium with Waymo will have access to a dedicated Waymo pickup and drop-off area, complete with clear wayfinding signage to ensure a seamless experience for all games, concerts, and major events.
And we don’t just want you to have the best seat to and from the game; we want you to have the best seat at the game. One lucky rider at every home game will be upgraded to a VIP fan experience. We’ll also be introducing a “Kickoff Kid” program, giving local youth a once-in-a-lifetime chance to step onto the field.
“Fans come to Allegiant to experience once-in-a-lifetime moments, and getting in that mindset all begins and ends with the journey,” said Sandra Douglass Morgan, President of the Las Vegas Raiders. “Partnering with Waymo reflects our drive to lead the industry in innovation and provide fans the best experience. Most importantly, it gives them a safe, reliable autonomous designated driver so they can focus entirely on enjoying the event.”
“Waymo has a proven track record of moving fans safely to and from the world’s biggest sports and entertainment events,” added Waymo Chief Marketing Officer Suzanne Philion. “We’re bringing that same convenient and magical autonomous experience to the heart of Raider Nation, building strong community relationships in Las Vegas well beyond game day.”
To experience the future of game-day transportation, fans can download the Waymo app and express interest in being among the first to ride with Waymo in Las Vegas.
