XCMG Commissions Seven XE3000 Ultra-Class Excavators at Major African Open-Pit Mine
Seven XCMG XE3000 large mining excavators have been successfully installed and commissioned at a major open-pit mine in Africa, officially commencing production operations. The deployment marks another major milestone in the global expansion of XCMG’s high-end mining equipment portfolio and underscores the growing presence of Chinese intelligent manufacturing in the international mining industry.
The batch delivery represents a solid step forward in supporting productivity upgrades and operational efficiency at the local mine. As the flagship model in XCMG’s 300-ton mining excavator lineup, the XE3000 is engineered for heavy-duty applications. It is powered by a 1,193 kW high-output engine combined with an advanced hydraulic system that ensures strong digging force and precise operational control. The standard backhoe configuration is equipped with an oversized 15 cubic metre bucket, enabling single-cycle excavation of more than 30 tonnes of material. This capability significantly reduces loading and haulage cycles, delivering measurable gains in both efficiency and operating profitability.
